Virtual CPD Programme
Programme Outline
Are you keen to develop your coaching skills by deepening your understanding of “Working with the Here and Now”? But what does it mean? It’s about being fully present with your client, responding to what’s unfolding in real time, and using that awareness to guide more impactful coaching sessions.
Using real-life coaching examples, we’ll explore:
- What ‘Working in the Here and Now’ means: How presence unlocks new awareness, perspectives and insights.
- The benefits of using the ‘Here and Now’: Learn how focusing on the present moment can help clients achieve their goals more effectively by addressing underlying emotions, beliefs, impact and actions as they arise.
- Practical tips, techniques and watchouts: Actionable strategies for staying attuned to the present, and using what you see and experience when you’re with the client, whilst managing potential challenges
- Working with strong emotions: Discover ways to skilfully work with heightened emotions in a way that’s safe, constructive, and empowering for your clients.
- Linking to coaching competencies: We’ll connect these practices to the core coaching competencies, demonstrating how staying present supports ethical, powerful coaching.
- Next steps: Integrate this approach into your practice.
